评论: His earliest paintings were done in Siberia, 1908-10. During WWI he was a pilot for France, and was shot down. In 1918 he settled in Taos, and became best known for his bright pallette and bold, loose impressionist scenes. Gaspard traveled and painted until his death in 1964. Signature note: His earliest works are signed "Leon Schulman." (He later changed his name to Gaspard.)
