评论: Born Ivan G. Dombrowski, he managed to escape the Bolshevik Revolution. Came to U.S. in early 1920s, settled in NYC and came under the patronage of Duncan Phillips (PMG). In addition to painting, Graham was a collector of African sculpture and an art dealer. In 1942, he organized the first exhibition of Jackson Pollock"s paintings in NYC, and was an important mentor to the sculptor David Smith. Author: System and Dialectics of Art (priv. pub., 1937).
