评论: His specialty was watercolors depicting scenes of the Old West in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico ó and he brought them to life with horses and riders in dramatic action. He was highly successful in selling his works, the best known of which was "Pony Express" (1900), widely distributed as a color print. His son was the California painter and etcher, Armin Hansen (see entry).
