1939 – 1940:Kahlo and Rivera divorced briefly in 1939, remarrying in 1940.
1929:Diego RIVERA and Frida were married on August 21.
1928:A close friend introduced Frida to the artistic crowd of Mexico City, which included Tina MODOTTI and Diego RIVERA.
1925:On September 17, a bus accident caused severe injuries to her body owing to a pole that pierced her from the stomach to the pelvis. The medicine of her time tortured her body with surgical operations (32 throughout her life), corsets of different kin
1915:At age 6, Frida was stricken with polio, which caused her right leg to appear much thinner than the other. It was to remain that way permanently.
She gave her birthdate as July 7, 1910, but her birth certificate shows July 6, 1907. Frida claimed to be born on 1910, the year of the outbreak of the Mexican revolution, because she wanted her life began together with the modern Mexico.
