评论: On his return to the U.S. from study in Paris and Germany, Andrews returned to Ohio but by 1876 had settled in Washington, DC. Under the patronage of the late W.W. Corcoran he founded the Corcoran School of Art, of which he was the director from 1877 until 1902. He was married to one of his students, Marietta Minnigerode, in 1895.
