评论: The son of Josiah Flagg, Jr. (1763-?, see entry), he studied medicine and surgery in Boston 1811-15 and later practiced dentistry in Boston. In 1813 he collaborated with Dr. J. C. Warren on an edition of Haller's Anatomical Description of the Arteries of the Human Body, Flagg providing the wood engravings. Flagg was also a founder of the Boston School of Design for Women. He died December 20, 1853.
