藝術家William DELAMANO (XIX) 生平簡歷

地址: NYC

职业: Painter of stage scenery and panoramas

评论: Listed as an artist in NYC directories from 1843 to 1860, Delamano was employed in the early 1850's as principal artist at P.T. Barnum's American Museum. In 1851 he produced for Barnum a moving panorama of the London Crystal Palace Exhibition of that year. It was shown in NYC in December, 1851. His panorama of the Hudson River was shown in NYC in 1858.

来源: G&W; NYCD 1843-60; N.Y. Herald, Dec. 2, 1851, June 4 and June 21, 1858. The N.Y. Herald, Nov. 7, 1853, mentions a Delamere as painter of scenery for Barnum's production of Uncle Tom's Cabin in NYC; this may have been Delamano, since no Delamere appears in NYCD.
