评论： An elder brother of artist Caroline Schetky (who moved to Phila. c.1818), Groce & Wallace included him in their dictionary because he exhibited three works at PAFA in 1821; they did state, however, that it was probable he did not visit America himself. He was for many years professor of drawing at the Royal Naval College at Portsmouth (England) and also Marine Painter in Ordinary to George IV, William IV, and Victoria.
