评论: Szyk (pronounced "schick") arrived in the U.S. in 1940, producing anti-Nazi cartoons for Esquire and Colliers. However, he is best known as the manuscript illuminator of Song of Songs (1917), Temptation of St. Anthony (1924), George Washington and His Times (1931), Rubaiyat (1939), Hagadah (1941), and New Order (1942). His final works, a series of prints illustrating the history of the United Nations, was produced as color lithographs, but remained incompleted at his death.
