评论: One of America's most important sculptors, he had his first exhibit and studio at age 18. He briefly studied in Paris in 1897 and returned there for a three year study period in 1904. In between he fulfilled important sculpture commissions in San Francisco. After returning from Europe the second time, he settled in NYC and worked as an instructor at the NAD.
