评论: Abstract painter. He spent many years in Paris, where he was friendly with Pascin, Foujita, Frieske, H.O. Tanner, W. Pach and Roger Fry. He always maintained his New Hope studio, where he also built the Tow Path House. Before his death in 1964, Ney built his own museum on Ney Alley in New Hope. Teaching: painting and history of art at Converse College, Spartanburg, SC. Position: hd., painting school at Kansas City Art Inst. for two years.
