评论: He came to the U.S. in 1912, becoming a naturalized citizen in 1927. From 1920 until the early 1930s he lived part-time at Woodstock, NY, as part of artistic community that included his brother, Paul Fiene. He had a successful large one-man show at the Whitney Studio Club in 1923, followed by seventeen exhibitions in New York City as well as in many other cities. He also painted on Monhegan Island (ME).
