New York based painter Adam Cohen studied at Philadelphia’s Tyler School of Art and lived and painted in Rome for a year. He was one of the first artists to use Photoshop, which helped launch his career as an illustrator. After many successful years in commercial art he returned to his first love painting. In 2012, Cohen began making abstract paintings, freeing himself from what he felt were limitations of a representational practice.
