The work depicting the bust of a young girl covered by the rich cloak with hood. It is the work of the Tuscan sculptor Ezio Ceccarelli, born in Montecatini in Val di Cecina. He study sculpture for a year with Ulisse Cambi, then enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts, meeting Professor Augusto Rivalta. At the age of 18 he exhibited for the first time in the rooms of the Florentine Promoter a bust entitled: "After the reproach", which was purchased by Signor Soria of Livorno. At the Promoter of 1891 he exhibited a bust entitled: "Senza lavoro", which by Rivalta and the local press was judged a very fine work in terms of form and feeling. Then he took part in the competition for the artistic pensioner in Rome banned by the Ministry of Education. He exhibited his works in numerous European capitals
