作品描述

"Lu Xun 'The Soul of the Nation'" is a profound bronze sculpture created by the esteemed artist Wu Weishan in 2006. This artwork, part of a limited edition with only 8 authorized bronzes, holding the second position in the series (2/8).

Wu Weishan's sculpture pays homage to Lu Xun (1881–1936), a pivotal figure in modern Chinese literature, cultural reform, and intellectual discourse. Lu Xun is widely regarded as the "Soul of the Nation" for his influential writings that addressed social issues and advocated for cultural awakening during a transformative period in Chinese history.

Lu Xun's literary works, such as "The True Story of Ah Q" and "Diary of a Madman," challenged traditional norms and paved the way for a new era of intellectual and cultural exploration. Wu Weishan captures the essence of Lu Xun's intellectual legacy in this bronze masterpiece.
