Between 1993 and 1995, the Master hand of Ángeles Benimeli had already shown her high technical level in terms of drawing, technique and chromatic composition on noble materials such as canvas and strong paper to create with oil paints, gouache, temperas and watercolors, wonderful portraits, still lifes and landscapes. All of them following a classic contemporary figurative pattern in those years. Countless avant-gardes had evolved art in the last century. Ángeles Benimeli decided to create a series of works within the abstract genre characterized by being created on strong papers appropriate for the gouache technique in which she included brushstrokes of oil and with white wax marked the different chromatic limits where a multitude of colors evolved the work to create a harmonious and meaningful environment in terms of color that she knew so well. The works exhibited here are those that remained in her family collection and are for sale today.
