“LA TORRE” is part of the corpus artis of “Dettagli e Orme”, an art exhibition organised in 2017 in Naples, Rome and also Ravenna. As Angelo Trimarco wrote, Grazia Maria Regalino “while moving through figurative painting, she triggers in it a movement of spacing, corrosion and, briefly, self-discussion. Eventually, figurative art is left with no more than its details and traces, around which there is the development of the dramaturgy of lines, colours and their weavings, to which, as Pliny used to say, pictorial art is meant to be attributed”.
Graduated at “lED” in Rome, the artist started with drawing, then experimented illustration, graphics and subsequently shifted towards painting. Her extraordinary technical skills and the “graven” details represent the main characteristics of this first phase. Since 2020 the artist  has been taking the path towards hyper-realism and conceptualism, also thanks to the deep and strongly evident influence applied by psychoanalisis on her works.
