Valerio Adami (1935).
Starting from an expressionist painting influenced by the production of Francis Bacon and by American pop art (in particular by Roy Lichtenstein), he has developed a sort of fantastic comic.

His style is characterized by the use of a chromatic material that extends flat, smooth and continues within the sharp black lines of the drawings.

Valerio Adami has exhibited his works all over the world, in 1968 at the Jewish Museum in New York, in 1970 at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, then at the Museum of Mexico City in Jerusalem, at the Center Pompidou in 1985 in Tel Aviv, in Buenos Aires...

Valerio Adami lives in Paris and is considered one of the living monuments of contemporary art.
