Beautiful, unique, original and rare watercolor work on paper by the Master Valerio Adami (Bologna, 17 March 1935), hand-signed by the artist.

The combinatorial practice of signs and formal elements, the visual vocabulary that Adami has adopted in his "closed form system", fits perfectly with the statement "the drawing looks like a freshly shuffled deck of cards that will recover its order in the rules of the game".

His drawing "L'onestà dell'arte", which, according to Ingres' axiomatic declaration, "includes everything except colour", decomposes and at the same time recomposes the elements of a narrative in which the colour can change accents or inflections without however changing the structure and conceptual implications, the allegorical quality, or how it consists of the archetype also as a primary condition.

In every drawing, in every painting it is as if Adami reproposes the recomposition of the fragments of an original unity that was lost.
