Original Woodcut monogrammed in the block and hand-signed on the left below the image. An early woodcut by Klien from the estate of Leopold Wolfgang Rochowanski, a friend of Klien's, journalist, artist and author from Vienna. He wrote the wonderful manifesto on Viennese Kineticism in the form of a booklet entitled "Form Wille der Zeit". Original woodcuts by the artist are extremely rare, as they were only reproduced by the artist herself and in small quantities. I have hardly seen any of the artist's graphics more than once.
Literature: Erika Giovanna Klien - Galerie Pabst Wien, 1975, last page, fig. 58, Wiener Kinetismus - Erika Giovanna Klien, Galerie Michael Pabst - München, 1986, page 5, fig. 5
