萨尔瓦多·达利 - "Don Quichotte"

Mixed media on paper signed twice and dated. One of the signatures is "crowned". Dedicated to Manuél Fraga (Iribarne), then Spanish Minister of Culture, in 1964. It explains the double size of the usual Drawings offered with dedication. Made to thank the Minister for the official recognition of Dali. In 1964, Dalí was officially dubbed by the regime when he received the most important national honorary distinction, the Grand Cross of Isabelle the Catholic, as a sign of "public and official recognition of the patriotic attitude of the great artist". Manuel Fraga, the minister who presented him with the badge, insisted on the fact that, "beyond all his work", it is because he was a "loyal Spaniard in difficult times who did not give up his passport "that he is decorated.
